What is Kapatan Baseball’s approach to accessibility?
Kapatan Baseball aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, so that people with different abilities and tools can read the site. We want to be clear about where that stands. The site has not been formally audited, and we do not claim that it conforms to the guidelines.
What does the team try to do?
The Kapatan Baseball Editorial Team tries to keep pages usable by following a few basic practices.
- Readable text with plain wording and sensible headings.
- Alt text on images, so screen reader users know what a picture shows.
- Pages that can be used with a keyboard alone.
- Clear link text that says where a link goes, instead of vague phrases.
- Good contrast between text and background.
These are goals we work toward, and some pages may fall short of them.
What are the known limits?
Parts of the experience are outside our control. When you follow a link to a store, you land on a third-party page that follows that store’s own accessibility practices. The same goes for embedded content from other services. If a store’s checkout or product page is hard to use, the store is the right place to ask for changes.
How do I report a barrier?
If something on Kapatan Baseball is hard to read, navigate or use, please tell us at contact@baseball.kapatan.com. Include the page address and a short description of the problem, plus the browser or assistive tool you were using if you know it. Reports are taken seriously, and we use them to decide what to fix.
