How does Kapatan Baseball handle accuracy?
Readers rely on Kapatan Baseball to compare gear before they spend money, so getting details right matters. We build pages from manufacturer information and public sources, and we still make mistakes occasionally. This policy explains how to flag one and what we do about it.
What counts as an error?
We treat these as errors worth correcting: wrong specifications or sizes, outdated prices or models, broken links, and wording that is unclear or could mislead. If a detail on one of our pages disagrees with the maker’s own page, please report it even if you are unsure which is right.
How do I report one?
Email editorial@baseball.kapatan.com. Include the page address and what is wrong. If you have a link to the manufacturer’s page or a photo of a product label, add it, because that speeds up the check.
What happens after a report?
The Kapatan Baseball Editorial Team checks the claim against manufacturer information. If it holds up, we fix the page. When a correction is significant, for example a size chart that would have led someone to buy the wrong helmet, we add a note on the page saying what changed. Small fixes, such as typos, are made without a note.
Why can’t the page always match the store?
Prices and availability change all the time, and the store’s own page is the final source for both. We update what we can, but a listing may lag behind. For more on how we create pages, see the Editorial Policy.
